Research on wheat breeding conducted by Emeritus Professor Hisashi Tsujimoto and his colleagues in Sudan was featured in the PNAS News Feature article, 'Boosting crops’ natural capabilities could help feed a warming world'.
The article emphasised the importance of researching ways to utilise and enhance the natural capabilities of crops in order to address the challenges of food production in a changing climate, and presented this research as an example of such work.
