SWY program participants visited the Arid Land Research Center.

About 20 young people participating in the 2022 SWY program visited the Arid Land Research Center, Tottori University on 16th Feburary.
Director Tsujimoto explained about drylands around the world, the desertification problems, and the importance of dryland research for solving these problems.
The participating youth enthusiastically asked questions, and they enjoyed themselves while learning, trying on dryland costumes during the tour.
* The SWY program is a program of the Cabinet Office, which aims to broaden international perspectives and develop young people capable of making international social contributions through discussions and cultural exchanges among youth from around the world, including Japan.
