Dr. Firew Tegegne Amogne the President of Bahir Dar University, has received Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation for 2022

Dr. Firew Tegegne Amogne, President of Bahir Dar University, was awarded the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation for 2022.
He was a Foreign Research Scholar (Associate Professor) of ALRC from October 2014 to September 2015. Also, he continues his contribution to the research activities including the SATREPS project between Bahir Dar University, Tottori University, Shimane University and the University of Tokyo as well as academic exchanges with Japan including students’ and professors’ visits to Tottori University.
He received the award for his contribution to the promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Ethiopia.
