2006 - INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF DESERTS AND DESERTIFICATION TOKYO&TOTTORI Events
In 2001 the ALRC signed a 10-year joint project, the Core University Program, with the Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (ISWC) of the CAS. The project is being funded by the JSPS and the CAS. The subject is Combating Desertification and Enhancing Rural Development in Inland China.
