- Students who are enrolled in the Global Arid Land Science (Division of
International Studies on Dryland Agriculture, the Course of Bioenvironment
Science), the United Graduate School of Agricultural Science or the Division
of Health Administration and Promotion, the Graduate School of Medical
Sciences as of April, 2011 or October 1, 2011(students who are scheduled
to be enrolled in at the application can apply).
Submission Deadline for the Fourth Recruitment: 17:00, Thursday, December
15, 2011
- *Project Researchers
- Project researchers who are employed under the Global COE Program "Global
Center of Excellence for Dryland Science" (those who are scheduled
to be employed at the application can apply).
Submission Deadline fot the Third Recruitment: 17:00, Monday, October 31,
2011
- *Postdoctoral Candidates
- Students who are scheduled to obtain a Ph D from the Global Arid Land Science
(Division of International Studies on Dryland Agriculture, the Course of
Bioenvironment Science), the United Graduate School of Agricultural Science
of the Division of Health Administration and Promotion, the Graduate Shool
of Medical Science in September 2011.
Researchers who obtained a Ph D from the Global Arid Land Science(Division
of International Studies on Dryland Agriculture, the Course of Bioenbironment
Science), the United Graduate School of Agricultural Science or the Division
of Health Administration and Promotion, the Graduate School of Medical
Sciences and it has not passed 5 years after the acquisition.

Recruiting for the Japan Society for the
Promotion of Science’s Research Fellowship for Young Scientists
(Global COE Program)

In the Global COE Program (global development of the arid region science base), focusing on those who wish to enter or advance to the graduate program of Tottori University United Graduate School of Agricultural Science in April 2008, candidates will be selected for the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science’s Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (Global COE Program).
- Applicants must satisfy all of the following to qualify:

- Wish to enter or advance to the Tottori University United School of Agricultural Sciences Environmental Biosciences Program, International Arid Land Agriculture Association Course, and have a main counselor who is in charge of promoting the Global CEO Program.
- Be under the age of 34 years on April 1, 2008
- Not have been hired as a fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science in the past.
- Be able to contribute to arid region science in our country in the future.

- 200,000 yen per month
・The amount of scholarship money may change due to circumstances.
- Judging system

- Be selected in the first (examination of documents) and second (interview) selections.
- The second selection will be carried out only for those who qualify in the first selection.
- The second selection will tentatively be held on Thursday, February 14 or Friday, February 15 (details will be given at the time of passing the first selection).
